OUR MISSION

To help provide facilities and extracurricular educational programs in all parts of Ghana for orphaned and single parented adolescents. This is done in order to foster in each child the development of sound health, self- confidence, social and environmental awareness, interpersonal skills, useful and relevant job skills, civic responsibility as well as ethical and spiritual behavior.

Friends of the Adolescents will work to improve the lives of the growing number of disadvantaged adolescents in Ghana, helping them to become ahealthy productive Ghanaian citizen.

 

OUR VISION

FOTA intends to be the torch bearing local organization in the fight to help change the living standards of the underprivileged adolescents in Ghana by 2015.

The main focus will be to get the Ghanaian society with apathy against these children to understand that these underprivileged children are an integral part of the population and cannot be discounted.

It is a globe with two adolescents on top. It defines the fact that adolescents are found all over the world, including Ghana. It signifies that there is the need for global transformation in the lives of the adolescents, who will grow to become future leaders. For this reason, Friends of the Adolescents (FOTA) club deems it fit to help raise the living standards of the adolescents; to mould and groom them into useful citizens.

Since the world is now a global village, Friends of the Adolescent (FOTA) club wishes to liaise with all and sundry, especially the rich to help raise the image of the underprivileged or less endowed adolescents.

Adolescents from rich homes, make friends with less privileged adolescent friends to improve their lot and you will forever be blessed.
